Hi, my name is Heidi. I have been doing art most of my life.  I come from a family of artists and was fortunate to have such great instruction so young. My biggest benefit from art was when I was diagnosed with cancer at 13. Going through something so serious at such a young age made me turn to other outlets to cope.  Art become a voice and an outlet for therapy.

As an adult, I have studied art in college, ran my own art studio, participated in art showcases, auctions and benefits.  I taught art in an academic setting and in my studio for over 12+ years. 

I can confidently say that creativity is in all of us. I believe we just have to find where it’s hidden and draw it out.
